Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice off the ends of the plantains and cut through the skin to remove it. Slice the plantains into 1-inch thick rounds.
Cooking
  1. Toss the sliced plantains with 2 tablespoons of avocado oil on the baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
  2. Press each round to flatten it to about a quarter-inch thickness.
  3. Brush the tops and bottoms of each round with the remaining oil and sprinkle with salt.
  4. Bake for another 14 to 17 minutes until golden and sizzling.
  5. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

For best results, use unripe plantains that are green but not too hard. Ensure even oil distribution for optimal crispiness. Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.
