  • 8 ounces mushrooms (shiitake, Cremini, or button) Provides an earthy base; choose according to flavor preference.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Enhances the natural flavors of the mushrooms and garlic.
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped Infuses the dish with aromatic richness.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped Adds freshness and color to the finished dish.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat the vegan butter in a pan over medium-high heat until bubbly and fragrant.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and a pinch of salt to the pan, stirring gently.
  3. Cook without stirring for about 3-5 minutes to allow the mushrooms to caramelize.
  4. Flip the mushrooms and let them brown on the other side for another 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add the chopped garlic and reduce the heat to medium.
  6. Stir the mushrooms and garlic together, sautéing for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  7. Stir in the fresh parsley and heat through for another 30 seconds.
  8. Remove from heat, sprinkle additional parsley on top, and serve.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the pan for optimal mushroom caramelization. Fresh garlic is recommended for the best flavor.
