Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wear disposable gloves to protect your hands from the jalapeño oils.
  2. Thinly slice the jalapeños.
  3. Place sliced jalapeños into a clean 14 oz jar and add whole garlic cloves.
Brine Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, combine apple cider vinegar, water, honey (or syrup), and sea salt.
  2. Heat over medium until it simmers and whisk to combine.
Finishing Up
  1. Pour the hot brine over the jalapeños in the jar.
  2. Let it cool to room temperature uncovered.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks before consuming.
  4. Enjoy after 24 hours for best flavor!

Notes

Pickled jalapeños can last up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. Adjust sweetness to your liking, and consider adding spices for a twist.
