Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil pasta. Boil pasta according to package instructions and drain.
  2. Brown beef and onion. While the pasta is cooking, brown beef and onion over medium high heat until beef is no longer pink. Drain excess grease if necessary.
  3. Season meat. Season meat with salt, garlic powder, black pepper, oregano and red pepper flakes.
  4. Combine sauce and cheese. Stir in pasta sauce and ricotta cheese and bring to simmer. Add pasta and combine thoroughly.
  5. Serve. Top with reserved ricotta cheese (if desired) and serve with grated parmesan cheese.

Notes

To enhance flavor, allow the dish to simmer together for better taste. This pasta can be easily adjusted to meet various dietary preferences.
